Impact of the adoption of residue retention on household maize yield in northern Zambia

Evaluating the impact of agricultural practices helps policymakers and farmers in their decisionmaking. In Zambia, most households depend on activities, particular maize production. This paper examines adoption residue retention households’ yield northern Zambia. We used propensity score matching (PSM) method. By using probit model, we also determined factors that influence retention. The results show adopting has a positive significant net effect household yield.
